Our gene detectives recreate the essential parts of a missing or deceased father's genome and use that as a basis for paternity evaluation. This is painstaking work that requires state-of-the art equipment and processes combined with clever, experienced genetic scientists who have a knack for solving puzzles.
Results may be used in court and for other official purposes as long as the chain-of-custody is maintained.
We utilize DNA from 4 persons:
- The child
- The mother
- 2 close male relatives of the alleged father
If the mother is not available then the test can be performed with 3 close male relatives of the alleged father at no additional charge.
